Residential Project Largest in Galt History

(Galt, California) Argent Development announced that construction is underway on Liberty Ranch, one of the largest residential developments in the history of Galt. The project of mostly single-family homes is being heralded for its master plan that will transform the city’s northeast side.

“The construction of Liberty Ranch development is the culmination of a huge effort by the City of Galt and the Argent Development team. The project will provide housing that will meet the needs of our community and provides ample open space, parks, and amenities for our residents to enjoy,” said Craig Hoffman, City of Galt Development Director. 

The master plan calls for over 1,400 homes at various densities consisting of single-family and multifamily units, 17 acres of parks and 44 acres of open space are also part of the plan.  In addition, through the Community Facilities District the project will provide funds for city-wide projects. 

When the infrastructure is complete, Argent will then sell completed lots to public homebuilders who will then construct the homes in the neighborhoods.

"We’re thrilled with the plans as this has been many years in the planning and that will be a model for other communities to emulate,” said Brian Spilman, Sr. Project Manager for Liberty Ranch.  

The homes at Liberty Ranch are perfect for first-time buyers as well as move up buyers and designed for both families and retirees. Construction at Liberty Ranch is expected to be completed in five to ten years.
